I had been wanting to get my hair done and saw an ad on Facebook for half off all services.I called in on a Saturday to book an appointment, and I was booked for the following morning. I gave my credit card over the phone, which to my understanding was for a deposit to prevent no shows that could be refunded if I decided I didn't want to do the service (I was told this) or cancelled appropriately. There was no mention of this being non refundable. Immediately after the phone call, I checked my schedule and realized that the following morning would not work. I went to call them back but they were now closed (I unknowingly had called the first time 5 min before closing). I knew the only thing I could do now was call first thing in the morning. My husband called for me to cancel, and the girl he spoke with said it was no issue. There was NO mention that I'd be charged anything. Days later I see I have a charge on my card for $50 from them. We called in again and were told we'd have to talk to a manager, that we were charged because we cancelled within 24 hours of the apt. Which one, I scheduled within less than that time so how could I possibly cancel in that time? And two, more importantly, there has been no prior mention of this policy. Manager calls husband later on and was apparently really snotty and rude. Said her system would not even let her do a refund. Bunch of bs. Basically pulled a huge guilt trip of why these deposits are necessary. We get it- deposits are there so if you don't go, the stylist doesn't lose out on another client that they now have to turn down. But we weren't properly informed on policies AT ALL, and I highly doubt anyone could have attempted to take my spot between the time I made the apt (right at closing) to when we cancelled it (right on opening next da). I didn't get refunded and honestly this is just obnoxious. *******Updating now that the business replied.It is entirely possible that on the phone the girl I spoke with mentioned the 24 hour part but I did not hear that. I was very tired, which you would have heard if you listened to the tape.My husband probably had no idea why I was cancelling, I just asked him to call for me as I was busy. I do often have to cancel things for health reasons as I have chronic health issues, so he's probably used to saying that. But that doesn't change anything, and I don't know why you're bringing that up unless you want to paint me as a liar? It's irrelevant. The main point here is a scheduled an appointment right at closing for next day, and appointment was cancelled immediately at the next available time to reach you guys. Obviously since I have never been there before, I would not know about your "app" etc or that you can be reached after hours. I'm not a psychic? I was not emailed a confirmation or anything with information on cancelling/reaching you guys, so again, way to bring up irrelevant information. I was told if I decided not to go through with the service I could get a refund. You would have heard that too on the tapes. There's nothing different in this situation except I saved you guys the trouble of wasting in person time at the time slot. I didn't no show. And with the exception of the time between close and open (which is out of my control) the appointment was cancelled immediately after setting it. Feel free to check time stamps.If this policy is so enforced, I don't know why my husband was NOT told that when he called to cancel that we'd be charged due to this "24 hour policy." Had something been said, I would have found a way to make it there, just to decline the services in person and get my refund back (as I was told I could) and get on with my day. But zero mention was made upon cancelling.I understand strict policy keeping as a business owner myself, but there's always room for discretion. I get the used car sales vibe from you guys and I definitely have zero interest in ever using your salon or referring anyone. This was an honest mix up, and I cancelled soon as you guys were open again, no mention of still being charged, not even offered to apply it towards another service or anything.

Loved my first experience at Salon Voss. Judy is excellent! The customer service was amazing from the moment you walk through the door. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The owner truly wants the clients to have a good experience. I walked out with great hair and a smile on my face.

Very professional salon. Stylist Omayra did my hair cut and she did a fantastic job on the cut. There was a slight misunderstanding afterwards about the styling but the owner personally reached out to me in a very professional manner to clear up any misunderstandings. It was one of the most hospitable experiences I've had with a hair salon because they seemed to go above and beyond to please their clients. I will surely be coming back!

Super clean and sleek salon. I had my hair done by Omayra. She's super knowledgeable and talented with hair. She's passionate about what she does, as is the rest of the staff. Awesome place!

I had a great experience at Salon Voss! Very friendly people. I was offered and served drinks ! Cool huh?! I love the video wall. I kept looking at it so the stylist had to turn my chair after a bit LOL. I'm always hesitant to visit a new salon but, I had to give them a try. I am so happy I did because they did an amazing job. I had some pink under that was just a mess. She worked her magic and now it's a gorgeous purple. If I'm paying a higher price then I expect a higher quality and they did not disappoint. I love their newly opened salon in the Stafford Marketplace. Thanks again ladies and gentlemen for such a great experience and my fabulous hair.
